Nashville Family Photographer | Araujo Family

araujo fall family session

I have been so lucky to get to know this family and watch them grow over the last few years. Some may not realize this, but as photographers, we genuinely love to be able to grow with your family. It is such an honor to do a first session, but the utmost honor to continue doing sessions with you year after year. I cant speak for all, but I know for me, I get invested in hearing about how your kids are doing and watching them grow into their unique individual personalities.

When I first met this gorgeous group, Aiden was an only child and was (and still is) so easy going and handsome. It is so much fun getting to see him as a big brother and watching him and his sister play. When Elin and I first talked about a location, we couldn’t get away from the idea of a cotton field. Of course, the one property I knew of, wasn’t planting cotton that year. Elin was determined, and we were so lucky that a private property owner was willing to let us shoot for a bit.

It may have a been during a UT football game… but the day was beautiful and perfect and the location couldn’t have been better. I’m not sure how we’ll top this one in the upcoming years!
