The Shepard have been dear friends of ours for just over two years now. It was so special when they came to celebrate New Years with us last year and shared the (then early) news that they were expecting their first sweet little one! Baby Shepard was not "due" to make his debut until Monday August 21st- the day of the total eclipse here in Nashville. However, he decided 100% that he was ready to meet his Mom & Dad & came about eleven days early!

Chris recalls it this way:
"It was completely unexpected. Just another Thursday morning, and then all of a sudden it wasn't, and we couldn't be more excited! Levi Glenn Shepard. 6lb 15oz. Perfect in every way"

I was fortunate enough to be able to go meet Levi for his newborn session on Day 5 of his life. I absolutely love being able to document all of the sweet details that parents put into the nursery, as it only stays that way for a little while, how wonderful to have those memories forever! Handsome little Levi was so tiny and slept the majority of the time I was there and was precious in every way.
